Obituary for Arnold Louis Migliano

Arnold Louis Migliano
Arnold Louis Migliano, 93, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Aurora Medical Center.
Born in Kenosha on August 19, 1924, he was the son of the late Camillo and Pia (Capone) Migliano. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools.
On June 30, 1962, he married Betty Forbes at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Arnold was employed for 37½ years with American Motors Corporation until his retirement in 1981. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and UAW Local 72. He enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, playing the saxophone, working on cars, vacationing in the Wisconsin Dells, and going on car rides, especially in his son Orrin’s black Corvette. He was a Milwaukee Brewers fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Surviving him is his wife, Betty Migliano of Kenosha; three children, Orrin (Stephanie) Migliano of Pleasant Prairie, Darlene (William) Polacheck of Waukesha, and Darla (Jeff) Ramer of Kenosha; six grandchildren, Stacey, Nicholas, Kayla, Jarrett, Cory, and Matthew; three step grandchildren; Michael, Stephen (Amber), and Jessica; and three step great-grandchildren, Layla, Aiden, and Ava. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive him.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Elsie (Anthony) Moretti, Elvera (Joseph) Perry, and Irene (Raymond) Kraning; and two brothers, Otto Migliano and Joseph Migliano.
Arnold’s family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Aurora Medical Center, the nurses and staff of Aurora At Home Hospice, and all the family and friends that have helped with his care during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, starting with a prayer service at Proko Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
