Frank DeMarino
Frank DeMarino, 90, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at ManorCare Nursing Home.
Born on June 15, 1927, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Sarah (Salerno) and Vincenzo DeMarino. He was educated in local schools.
On March 19, 1946, he married Mary Ann Gentile at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Together they moved to Trempealeau, WI, in 1981. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2001.
Frank was the Supervising Material Handler at American Motors/Chrysler until his retirement.
Frank was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and until recently, made his own fishing lures. He was an avid baseball fan, especially the Cubs. He enjoyed his times in Arizona with his sons, Vince and Kelly, attending the Cubs Spring Training. The Cubs winning the World Series allowed Frank to complete his bucket list.
Surviving are two sons, Vincent F. (Linda) of Kenosha and Kelly M. of LaCrosse; four grandchildren, Jamie DeMarino of Los Angeles, CA, Vincent DeMarino of Kenosha, Krystal DeMarino of Chicago, IL, and Samantha (Jared) Lechusz of Mount Pleasant; and three great-grandchildren, Surya DeMarino, Paul Lechusz, and Franclynn "Frankie" Lechusz.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife; three sons, Frank Jr., Leonard, and Larry; a sister, Madge Seliga; and a brother, Kelly DeMarino.
Funeral services will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Friday, July 14th, at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
