Andrew G. Mastronardi, 82, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Kenosha on September 12, 1934, he was the son of the late Andrew and Rose (Vona) Mastronardi. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he attended local schools. On May 7, 1955, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, he married MaryAnn Bindelli. Andrew was a Cement Finisher for many years for Bindelli Brothers and Geno Bruno. His later accomplishments ranged from managing multiple apartment buildings and custodial work for Holy Rosary and St. Joseph High Schools. After retirement, he continued to work at G.R.C. where he loved to bowl.
Andrew was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a Eucharist Minister at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing. He was a great cook a real “Jack of All Trades.” Andrew was helpful to everyone, a real Guardian Angel.
Surviving are his wife, MaryAnn Mastronardi of Kenosha; his three children, Nancy (Raymond) Kerce, Robert (Cindy), and James (Charlene Larson); his sister, Josephine Bunosso; his grandchildren, Vian, Jassayl, Andrew, Robert II, James, Michelle, Rochelle and Frankie; many beloved great-grandchildren; and his fur babies, Buffy, Copper and Mario.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Joseph, and James; three sisters, Minnie Berent, Therese Cowick, and Mary Jean Woodly; and his son-in-law, Raymond Kerce.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 10th, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224-45th Street, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
